We have rented many homes in the Orlando area and this was one of our favourites. Great home, with lots of space. Clean. The pool area was lovely and pool was nice and warm. The home owners were so kind and helpful. Twice we reached out to them and they responded immediately! Great service and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends️ -

We recently stayed at Grand Lagoon 1 villa and it was a fantastic stay! The villa was beautiful, clean, and had everything that we needed. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the home from lights and items being labelled, to the thorough and detailed instructions. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly, and a genuine pleasure to correspond with. The location was central and just a short drive to everything and having a laundry and full-size kitchen was great. We had more than enough space and were comfortable, enjoying the pool and games room. I would highly recommend this villa for any family looking for a home away from home for their vacation and we hope to visit again.

We stayed at this fantastic villa for 22 nights in August 2024. We were a UK group of 7 aged from 11 to 65.From the first contact with the owner to the last we had a fab experience. They were always helpful, prompt and friendly.Emerald Island is in a great location, so close to the parks and nearby places such as Target, Walmart, Publix and tons of restaurants and take outs. The gated security entrance is comforting and the streets of Emerald Island are so pretty!The villa had everything needed and plenty of space to be together. The decor was great, modern and fresh. We loved the Disney touches throughout. It has clearly been thoughtfully designed.Inside the villa we made great use of the games room and other board games provided - we loved spending some relaxing nights in. The pool table had a lot of use! It was helpful to have a washing machine and dryer for our long stay.The bedrooms were lovely - perfect for a good nights sleep after a long day on our feet!The pool and hot tub were also great and had a lot of use. We didn't make use of the decent golf clubs or bikes but totally would've if we were there at a cooler time.We've stayed at lots of villas and this has been the best.First class villa and owners. We would 100% recommend. If you are thinking of booking this villa, please do it - you will not be disappointed.

Our recent 7-day stay at this Orlando villa exceeded all expectations, creating cherished memories for my wife, daughter, and me. The villa's prime location allowed for easy access to Universal Studios and other Orlando attractions, making our daily adventures a breeze. The pool beckoned us every day, offering refreshing dips! The villa's generous size provided ample space for each of us to unwind and enjoy privacy, while the games room, especially the foosball table, became a hub of laughter and friendly competition, particularly for our daughter. The secure gated community added an extra layer of tranquility, and the attentive staff ensured our needs were met throughout our stay. Celebrating our daughter's birthday at this wonderful villa made it an extra special occasion that she'll treasure forever. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa to any family seeking an unforgettable Orlando vacation

Have just returned from a wonderful fortnight at Mark and Lisa’s villa. We have been lucky enough to stay in a number of villas and condos in the Orlando area and this one is, without doubt, our absolute favourite. The facilities and equipment (golf clubs, bicycles etc) go way over and above what you’d expect to be provided and the location and resort of Emerald Island is wonderful. Also, Mark and Lisa were absolutely first class in their communication and advice. We will certainly be back here in the future.

Having just stayed a week in Mark & Lisa’s vacation rental, we can’t recommend it enough. We are a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) and there was more than enough space. The accommodation was easy to access and all directions given were very clear. The villa was extremely clean and tidy, rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the required equipment and more! Staying in July, we didn’t request pool heating, and it certainly wasn’t needed. Very secure for families with young children too, due to the security features. Although we didn’t have much time to use it, the games room was awesome. Location was excellent. Only minutes from all the Disney parks and plenty of restaurants to choose from on the 192. Emerald Island resort is extremely safe too due to the gated community, and the tree lined streets made it look very homely. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just had a fabulous week here, the villa is in a fantastic location, very close to the Disney parks and it's in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The villa is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need to make your vacation special. The owners, Mark and Lisa take the time to keep in contact and make sure everything os OK for you. This really is a great place to stay for your Orlando vacation -

Just back from staying here 2 weeks in June 2024. Have stayed in Villas in Florida before but this one is by far the best. Clean, comfortable and classy. Loved the decor all very well thought out. Everything felt quality and this included the beds which were super comfortable. The pool and hot tub were heated as we arranged this when booking and despite the very hot weather there's nothing beats a dip in the warm waters and a relaxing hot tub. I think it cured my aching bones after the parks! The games room was phenomenal, foosball was our personal favourite, it was a well stocked room including golf clubs and bicycles. No expense spared. The villa made our holiday as we were so relaxed spending the 'down' time in such a beautiful space with the luxury of air conditioning and TVs with multiple channels. We are a family of grandparents, parents and 8 year old short. attention span, grandson. The accommodation suited us all. Great to have our own bathroom each as well The Emerald Isle itself is a lovely ,well kept estate and thanks to good gate security feels very safe, with the addition of a clubhouse and larger pool if you are inclined. Lastly, there was a few eagles in the area and we loved watching them circle in the sky whilst floating in the pool. Heaven! Location perfect and villa perfect. Thanks to the owners who are only an email away and quick to respond with any queries. We WILL be back. -

We loved our stay at Grand Lagoon 1 Villa in April 24. We came on holiday from the UK and it was the first time we'd booked a villa separately to flights - I was slightly concerned about not having a 'package ' holiday, but being able to choose such an amazing villa and know exactly where we'd be staying was so worth it (and I'm sure saved a bit of money). Mark kept in touch through the run-up to our stay and was always so quick to respond and really helpful. The villa is exactly as you see in the photos, and the location was perfect for us - 15-25 minutes to Disney depending on traffic, about 35 to Universal and 75 min drive up to Kennedy Space Centre. We had a couple of walks up to the clubhouse (a short stroll via the nature walk), where there's a bar, gym, pool and our aim - coffee. If you're looking for a home from home whilst in Orlando, look no further. Now I just need to convince my husband to go back.....

We enjoyed 3 wonderful weeks at Grand Lagoon 1 Villa. The villa was very clean, well-maintained and equipped with everything you need. It is close to all amenities such as groceries, dining, Disney, and shopping. Emerald Island Resort is very secure, safe and well-maintained. The pool and spa provide hours of fun and relaxation. We especially loved having a grill available for cooking. The owner, Mark was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and we so appreciated that. Our grandkids, ages 5, 8 and 11 joined us for a week and loved the games room!! We highly recommend this Villa and would love to return. Thanks again Mark and Lisa for allowing us to stay at your beautiful villa!

The villa was beautifully clean, well maintained and had comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The games room was awesome, as was the pool and hot tub. Location was also excellent for everything Disney, 10-20 mins to all the parks, plus several supermarkets within 10 mins drive. Our host was very responsive when messaged (thanks!). We were a family of 7; 2 couples and 3 children and there was plenty of space. We loved everything about this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a property for a family holiday. -

We have stayed in villas in Orlando before, but this villa was superior! The gated community was great, very quiet and it felt so safe. The accommodation was clean and fixtures/fittings in excellent condition. Carpets in the bedrooms was a luxury you don’t often get in villas for hire, and made it feel so homely. The games room was a hit with all of us and provided fun away from the theme parks. Lastly the pool! This was great, and something we are missing back in the UK. Mark and Lisa were fantastic, from my initial enquiry right through to getting home. Very friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. I would highly recommend this villa! -

We had a great time staying in this villa. The villa is beautiful inside and out very clean. It's in a nice quiet area. I loved the pool and jacuzzi our son loved the games room also. We had everything we needed for our weekly stay. Short drive to the Restaurants etc. Mark and Lisa your place is amazing and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of coming to Florida to stay. Also, I loved all the rooms, especially the kids' rooms which are fantastic. Just a beautiful place xx

We have just returned from a two-week stay at the Grand Lagoon 1 Villa. We travelled as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children aged 8, 6 & 3). The villa was ideal for us and had every amenity we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property is larger than it looks in the pictures and there is ample room to relax on the days off from the parks. The kids particularly enjoyed the games room and the pool which was a great size for our family. The villa is ideally located for access to all Disney parks with plenty of shops and restaurants also close by. The communication from the villa owners was excellent with every email or question responded to in good time with very helpful information. We would highly recommend this villa for your family's Disney holiday.

We stayed at the Grand Lagoon 1 villa for 2 weeks start of May. The villa is gorgeous, very clean and has everything you need. Very close the restaurant and shops. Mark & Lisa were fantastic and very helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We just got back to Michigan from our stay in Florida. The villa was GREAT! The property was very clearly the owner’s house and not purely a rental property. It was VERY well maintained and super clean. They had extra safety features to ensure kids don’t get out to the pool without their parents knowing. We appreciated that. We didn’t expect that we’d enjoy the backyard pool so much, but we did and spent a lot of time out there. We have 6 kids and it was great finding a place that fit us all comfortably at a reasonable price. We’re a few years past needing it, but still appreciated the thoughtfulness…the house had a pack-n-play in one of the closets. We have triplets and not having to pack another one of those, would have been nice back in the day. The owners were very responsive with messages too. The place is very close to Disney and a quick drive to Cocoa Beach (we took a day trip there and it was so fun…ocean was bath water warm, waves kept rolling in for body surfing, and it was spring break and it wasn’t too crowded…only had a 15 minute wait for a party of 8 at Long Doggers…which turned out to be delicious and the staff was nice…cool beach vibe too). Anyways, if you’ve read this far, good job 😀 It was a fun trip!!!

We had a lovely stay at Disney Getaway Villa over Christmas and New Year and have no hesitation in recommending. The villa is comfortable, well equipped and the pool and jacuzzi are lovely. Emerald Island Resort is very peaceful, which is perfect after a hectic day at Disney/Universal, and the location is great - close to supermarkets, restaurants and parks. Thank you Mark and Lisa for sharing your wonderful home. -

This villa was incredibly clean, well laid out and exactly as shown-no “surprises”! We loved the door directly from the master bathroom to the pool. The owners were helpful and responsive. The pool and spa are refreshing and relaxing. Location in this beautiful gated community is perfect-near Disney, groceries, shopping, and restaurants! We are frequent renters and will definitely return to this home! -

We had a great stay! The owners of this rental are very responsive and helpful. They intend to continue to make upgrades to make guests even more comfortable. We slept great and relaxed in the pool after Disney. My kids were thrilled with their themed rooms and we were comfortable in the king. They have thought of all of the details. The pool table was also a nice treat. Very convenient to Disney, Starbucks and CVS, as well as a mall with many nice restaurants and stores.
