The villa has been completely remodeled with fresh paint, all new flooring, granite countertops, all new lighting, ceiling fans, fixtures and blinds plus new living, dining and master bedroom furniture and mattresses!  The game room has also been remodeled with new games added (including a new pool table).  Finally, the landscaping was refreshed, and tropical plants added around the pool cage for increased privacy.  The result is a modern and comfortable villa with a spacious open concept living space with room for up to 8 guests and fun for all ages!  The perfect place to unwind after the parks, or just to spend the day enjoying Florida!

Welcome to the Disney Getaway Villa, located in the beautiful and luxurious Emerald Island Resort. This villa is “the one” for your magical vacation. Why stay in a cramped hotel when you can spread out in a villa with more for less? When you are finished with an exhausting day at the renowned Orlando area theme parks and attractions, you don’t want a bustling hotel… come home to a private villa with its own pool to unwind, discuss the day’s highlights and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Location, location, location! 

The Emerald Island Resort is located just minutes from Disney World and 30 minutes or so from the other Orlando area attractions (Universal Studios, SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, etc.). It is the closest private gated and guarded resort to Disney World. The resort boasts an impressive winding palm-lined entry leading to the gated entrance with manned security for peace of mind, as well as resort-style amenities such as pools, a tiki bar, sports courts (tennis, basketball, pickleball, shuffleboard), playgrounds (tot lots), a fitness room, mini golf, sauna, nature trails and more. 

There are easy access roads to get to Disney World quickly from the resort as well as numerous grocery, dining and shopping options along the 192. The recently built Margaritaville Resort is a stone’s throw away and has exciting restaurants and shopping venues as well as a large water park.

Perfect Accommodations! 

The home is located near the center of the resort and has four bedrooms with 3 full baths (2 ensuite) and an open concept living space. Best of all, it has a lovely lanai for al fresco dining and a private heated swimming pool with attached spa and underwater lighting for evening swims - enclosed with screens to avoid the Florida bugs, and a child safety screen that can be removed (pool heat is an extra charge). The garage has been converted into a game room for fun on those non-park or rainy days.

The master bedroom is located at the rear of the house and features a king bed, walk-in closet, sliding door to the pool and an ensuite bathroom with its own door directly to the pool deck (a “must have” for quick bio breaks on pool days).

The second master is very separate from the other bedrooms and living space, located in the front of the villa, and features a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom.

The remaining two bedrooms are located in the hallway down from the master - one has a twin-over-full bunk bed and the other has two twin beds... both with Disney theming. These two bedrooms share the 3rd full bath (which is also accessible from the rest of the villa).

The living space is comprised of an open family room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and breakfast nook that overlooks the pool. The total sleeping capacity for the villa is 8. There is dining seating for 8, as well as 2 breakfast bar stools.

Premium Amenities! 

There is a large screen TV (55”) in the family room with Roku (and an Xbox 360), plus TVs in each bedroom. Each TV has cable channels, and most have built in smart capabilities (Roku).  There is a DVD player in the family room with a huge library of DVDs for your use.  The villa includes high-speed Wi-Fi internet at no additional cost. Other “extras” abound throughout the house, including a BBQ grill on the lanai available for your use as well as a highchair, stroller, pack 'n play, some toys and stuffed animals, plus other family-friendly amenities.

Finally, the garage is a game room and is teeming with fun! It contains new full-sized pool and foosball tables, a 50" Roku TV with a 2-player stand-up arcade console (with 5,000 games), a for-fun slot machine (tokens), a putting green, plus 2 bicycles and 3 sets of golf clubs for guests' use. The laundry area is also located in the game room.

Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises, including a blink video doorbell. The doorbell motion detection is turned off after arrival but activates if the doorbell is pressed. The other cameras are located on each side of the house - one to monitor the pool equipment and the other to monitor the trash bin, plus one aimed at the driveway, and do record if there is motion. We respect your privacy and there are no cameras inside or pointed at the pool area, of course.

Please carefully review the rental agreement prior to booking.  Proceeding with booking constitutes acceptance of the rental agreement and house rules.  Also make sure to request pool heat if desired (added nightly charge).

As you enter the villa you are greeted with a fabulous luxury vinyl plank open-plan living space with a "drop space" and mirror.

The formal dining area is located adjacent to the family room and has a large table with seating for up to 4 diners.  Don't forget to say hi to our favourite Pelican, Nigel.  :-)

The spacious family room is comfortably furnished to allow our guests to relax watching TV, DVD or stream via Roku on the 55" TV.  A huge selection of DVD's are provided for your enjoyment.  There is a sliding door directly to the pool and lanai.

The large open-plan kitchen with new granite countertops & quality appliances offers everything to make your holiday as relaxing as possible.

Amenities include a full-size stove, waste disposal, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, crockery, cutlery and a toaster (and much more!). 

The adjacent beachy-vibe breakfast nook looks out onto the lanai and pool area and provides seating for 4 with additional seating on bar stools for 2 at the breakfast bar.  There is also a new corner pantry cabinet (not in pictures), providing ample storage for your food.

This beautifully furnished bedroom features a king-sized bed and walk-in wardrobe with a hotel-style safe. Additional features include a Roku TV and bedside lamps with USB charging ports

The ensuite bathroom with direct access to the pool deck features a large walk-in shower, vanity unit with hairdryer and WC.

This wonderful master bedroom is located at the front of the villa and is perfect for grandparents or teens and features a queen-sized bed, a large closet, and a TV.

The attached ensuite bathroom is equipped with a bath with shower over, a single vanity unit, WC and hairdryer.

This Disney themed bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed with storage cabinets, wardrobe and TV.

The Mickey & Minnie Room features twin beds, a wardrobe and TV.

This shared Jack & Jill bathroom located next to bedroom 3, features a vanity unit, bath with shower over, WC and hairdryer. 

This bathroom is also accessible from the kitchen hallway.

The laundry facility located in the garage, provides a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, and iron for your convenience.

The garage has been converted to a games room is equipped with a pool table, foosball (table football), a 2-player ful-sized arcade console with 5,000 games attached to a 50" Roku TV, a for-fun (tokens) slot machine, a fun putting green, an Xbox 360, 2 bicycles and 3 sets of golf clubs -- All free for guests' use!  

The luxurious pool deck is the perfect place to sunbathe and relax in the Florida sunshine.

The pool area is provided with two patio tables, 6 chairs and 3 sun-loungers for your enjoyment and comfort.

The pool and spa can be heated for an additional daily charge (recommended from October to April).

A pool safety fence is also provided to ensure toddler safety by the poolside.

For the ultimate alfresco dining experience, guests are able to use our BBQ with gas & utensils (free to use whereas others can charge for this!)

Please note that replacement gas refills are not included but can be purchased cheaply from the local gas station.

We provide free high speed WiFi internet access throughout the villa and pool deck.

All towels, including pool towels and linens are provided.

We have a pack-n-play, high chair and single stroller for the little ones - all free for guests' use.  Other equipment such as a cot (crib) can be rented if required. Please request these items in the booking form if required and the owner will advise you of the rental cost based on the length of your stay.

Please note that we do not provide bedding for the cot (crib) due to strict Florida hygiene laws, which isn't normally an issue as most parents usually prefer to bring their own.

No need to get stressed on arrival - our villa has an electronic keyless entry system with a code that will be set uniquely for you, so if you are delayed at the airport, you can get into the villa any time of the day or night - no need to travel miles out of your way in unfamiliar territory to collect keys - just pull up on the drive, tap in the numerical code provided and your holiday can begin !!

Our villa is maintained by a very responsive and friendly management company located in the area. This ensures that all our guests receive the most efficient, friendly and personal service 24/7.

We prefer payment in US DOLLARS, however if you request a quote in BRITISH POUNDS and you decide to book, you will be advised that the prices will be converted into US DOLLARS where you will have the opportunity to review the US DOLLAR prices and if happy, accept them before proceeding with the online booking.
