Reunion's many challenging courses are only minutes away from Watersong Resort, whilst Champions Gate is just up the road and features 2 premier 18-hole championship golf courses designed by acclaimed architect and golfer, Greg Norman. Recently built and virtually next door, is the newly opened Providence Golf Club, which is touted to become the next most popular Central Florida golfing destination.

Fastest Route from Airport by Car

The best way we have found with the least amount of traffic is down the Central Florida Greeneway (Toll 417). It's a toll road, but worth every penny, especially after a long flight.
From Orlando International (MCO) (less than $5 in tolls) head for the 417 SOUTH. From Sanford International, also head for the 417 SOUTH (less than $10 in tolls). Stay on the 417 toll road which eventually merges into the I4 West to Tampa - take exit 58 onto SR 532 East. At junction with S Old Lake Wilson Road, turn right follow road south to Ronald Reagan Parkway where you turn left. At the end of this road turn right onto S Orange Blossom Trail (US17) heading south. Watersong Resort is less than 2 miles on the US17 on the left hand side.

Getting Around Without A Rental Car

We strongly recommend that you have a rental car if you are staying on Watersong Resort as there are no shuttles - an alternative would be Florida Transport.

Florida Transport offer an amazing private transfer service - they can pick you up from the airport and take you to the villa and even stop off for you buy some essential groceries before taking you to your villa.  They also offer a taxi service to take you to theme parks, beaches, shopping, nights out etc....

Taxi's & Shuttles

Alternatively, we also recommend UBER who are considerably cheaper and more reliable than your typical taxi companies. UBER provides great & friendly service at an affordable cost for families who do not plan on driving during their vacation.

Download the UBER app on your phone and then requesting a suitable vehicle is dead easy, convenient and affordable.

Local Amenities

Watersong is a short drive from Champions Gate, where there is a useful shopping centre, including Publix supermarket, a selection of restaurants, take-aways including MacDonalds, Subway and Papa Johns, a Liquor store, Pharmacy, Petrol Station Hairdressers and Nail Bar. Just beyond is The Omni Resort with two championship golf courses designed by Greg Norman and David Leadbetter. You can also buy gas refills for the BBQ from both petrol stations.

DVD Video & Games Rental

DVD's and Video Games can be hired from the video rental shop at Championsgate. You will need to show your passport or driving licence as well as a credit card to get temporary membership.
